As someone said, opportunity exists in crisis. The research team searches and culls out those opportunities, starts pilot programmes and subsequently establishes the need for a full-fledged initiative to be rolled for a given issue. With two pilots up and running in Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh, the research wing is gung ho about future prospects.

Manager � CHAMPION Trial

Ram has been working as the research officer for the CHAMPION Trial for the last two years. He is heading a team that is responsible for the data collection across villages in Nagarkurnool revenue division of Mahabubnagar district.

Ram has a Masters Degree in Commerce. Before joining Naandi, he worked in the Finance Department of Indira Kranthi Padham (Andhra Pradesh Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) and Cyber Mate InfoTech for over 7 years.

He loves to watch movies and cricket matches on television, enjoys good music, reads fiction novels and political articles.

Rambabu P
Assistant Manager � STRIPES Trial

Rambabu is responsible for deploying the education centered STRIPES trial, which is a part of the CHAMPION trial within Naandi�s social research portfolio. Earlier, he was responsible for monitoring the implementation of the ECL programme in Hyderabad.

He has a Master's in Social Work & Sociology from the Andhra University and a B Ed in Special Education from Bhopal University. He has worked for over a decade in rehabilitation and mainstream education using holistic quality education interventions in a Rights based approach at various organisations including the Thakur Hari Prasad Institute for Research and Rehabilitation, Rajahmundry.

Few people know that Rambabu is a die hard biker. And would do anything for a child in distress.
