Manoj is the Chief Executive Officer of Naandi Foundation since 2000. Prior to joining
Naandi he worked with several government and international organisations such as the
Ministry of Finance Government of India, Small Industries Development Bank of India
(SIDBI), Plan International and BASIX. An economist by qualification he is a Robert
McNamara Fellow of the World Bank.
Apart from guiding Naandi's growth strategically, Manoj strategises on development
sector issues for several leading organisations. This includes being the Chief CSR
advisor for Mahindra & Mahindra group; a governing body member of Dr. Reddys
Foundation, NICE Foundation and Naandi Norway. He is a Board invitee to the Geneva
based Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and a member of the Indo-German
Young Leaders Forum.
More recently he has been actively involved in Citizen's Alliance against Malnutrition,
a policy advocacy think tank comprising young parliamentarians and civil society leaders.
His other interests include contemporary art, cinema, quizzes and literary novels.
